We understand that food is one of the most important aspects of your wedding and we are here to help you impress. Reflecting the season and full of flair, flavours and creativity we will deliver food of outstanding quality to your guests throughout your wedding day.

Food for thought
All couples are invited to enjoy a private tasting experience with Tom. This will take place in our glass tasting room in the heart of the kitchen. You will see how your food is prepared; taste a number of different options for each course along with matched wines and be able to discuss adjustments and any ideas you may have.

Our seasonal Wedding breakfast menu is based on a 3 – Course meal with coffee and petit fours but we can create a spectacular 5 or 6 course menu or something completely bespoke for couples looking for something a little different or a particular style of food.

Any changes to the menu that you request at this stage are recorded and photographed to make sure everything is exactly how you want it on your big day.

Toast the difference
A wide selection of champagnes and sparkling wines are available for your toast. We also offer a range of choices for the drinks reception, from bucks fizz to champagne, Pimm’s or cocktails. Wine to accompany the meal is professionally matched to suit your chosen menu, and this will be available at your tasting…

What's your inspiration behind the wedding menu?

I really want to challenge and push the boundaries of food standards that are expected at weddings, breaking down the stigma that goes with venue catering to deliver restaurant quality food. I feel I have come up with a fantastic menu that covers all angles from people wanting lovingly created simple food with string flavours, to dishes which are technically challenging and complex for the chefs but will wow your guests in the room.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

There are so many aspects of the job which I enjoy, for me though, it's when I'm in the tasting room talking to couples about their weddings and helping them create their perfect menu. I love watching the whole process develop from that initial meeting to serving the menu on the actual wedding day. The feeling seeing a room full of happy wedding guests and a delighted top table really can't be beaten.

Looking into your crystal ball what do you see as future wedding menu trends?

What's in at the moment is restaurants concentrating on key foods, the tram shed with chicken, burger & lobster etc and I can definitely see this moving through into more informal weddings. For the wedding breakfasts, I will be bringing lots of smoking, brineing and bring different fusions of cuisine to the menu. It really is an exciting time to be having a wedding at The Brewery.

If you were cooking for yourself what would be your food or dish of choice?

This has never changed since my Mum was cooking it. Lamb chops, creamy mash potato, greens, carrots and mint sauce. My mum is fabulous cook and I still do it the exact same way she has done for years, creature comforts I guess!!!
